Jeannie (Allman) Thomas has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Colon Cancer. During this trying time, she refuses to let this diagnosis define her as she fights through her therapy and searches for additional treatments as she battles this overbearing disease. Looking at her, you will only see her true strengths: a devoted wife, a loving mother of three beautiful children, a firefighter, a paramedic, a registered nurse, a Sunday School teacher, a camp counselor, a former Army Reservist, and so much more! For those that know Jeannie personally, I think that it is safe to say that we all agree that her most impressive quality is her unwavering, deep faith and love of Jesus Christ, who is the center of her life.
This “Jeannie’s Journey” website is a way for her to blog and journal her thoughts, experiences, trials and tribulations as she traverses the challenging battle of fighting colon cancer. As we follow Jeannie on her journey, we ask for your prayers. Prayers for healing. Prayers for her strength. Prayers for her doctors and nurses. Prayers for her family.
For those who have not walked in her shoes, it is exhausting: physically, emotionally, and financially. If you are able to help the family reduce their medical bills and assist with covering the exhaustive cost of treatments that insurance doesn’t cover, any donation is greatly appreciated. There are many ways to donate on her “Donate” page of this website.
Your generous donation of any amount will give her and her family the ability to help alleviate some of the financial burden that this disease is causing. Please follow Jeannie’s Journey, as she will be sharing so much in her blogs on this website which will include advice for other’s walking in her similar shoes, to tips for homeschooling families, and words of wisdom about strength and how to remain steadfast with unwavering faith in Jesus Christ.
Jeannie’s Journey is a testament to the beautiful gift of life. We hope that you will follow her on her journey by visiting JeanniesJourney.com and we ask that you keep Jeannie and her family close in prayer.
May God bless you and keep you safe. Jeannie will be blogging as quickly as possible. Please check back momentarily for updates as we grow this website.
